Breast surgery
Our reconstructive breast surgery team offer a full, contemporary range of options for reconstruction following mastectomy and associated ‘symmetrising’ and ‘sculpting’ techniques. As well as reconstruction after cancer, we offer treatment for developmental breast pathology such as asymmetry, tuberous breast deformity, hypomastia and breast hyperplasia. Please note that patients referred for some breast modification surgery may need to have specific funding in place from the CCG. A selection of our procedures includes:
- Breast Reconstruction (either immediate or delayed)
- Free DIEP or muscle sparing TRAM flaps
- TUG or gluteal free flaps
- Pedicled latissimus dorsi flaps – autologous or with implant
- Tissue expansion and implants
- Oncoplastic dermal flap and implant reconstruction
- Reconstruction with artificial dermal matrix and implant
- Partial breast reconstruction with local perforator flaps (LICAP, TDAP)
- Breast Modification (possibly as a symmetrising procedure after reconstruction)
- Implant based breast augmentation
- Breast reduction
- Mastopexy
- Post Reconstruction Finesse
- Lipomodelling
- Nipple reconstruction
- Gynaecomastia correction
